Exciting news for March. City Ombudsman will be featured at the inaugural Good Discovery(s) Festival for civic design! On March 26th, City Ombudsman will converge with creatives at Memorial Hall for a day of brainstorms, keynotes, panels, and networking to share ideas that make our community better. Look below for a City Ombudsman giveaway to the festival.

The City Ombudsman session is How to Transform Bureaucracy into a Creative Tool for Good and is included on the Community & Wellness Track. I am bringing lessons from my experience as an outsider-turned-insider to discuss transforming bureaucracy from a workplace obstacle into a tool for good. Everyone will take home multiple conflict resolution tools for working through all kinds of bureaucracy as well as igniting how you create, live, and work.

The festival is for community members interested in making a difference via arts and culture, community and wellness, food, and technology. We will be sharing ideas, brainstorming solutions, and learning from local leaders. There will be keynotes, breakout sessions, exciting happenings on the trade floor, and networking opportunities.
